NIKOLA ATANASOV (MM - USC) was named Principal Flutist with the Beijing Philharmonic Orchestra in August 2005. He is one of those rare "do-it-all" musicians who is a gifted composer, ethnic flutist, and a specialist in extended flute techniques.

HEATHER CLARK (BM - USC) is one of LA's most sought after flutists and can be heard on over 100 motion picture soundtracks. She is also Principal Flute with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Long Beach Symphony, and was formerly principal flute with the Pacific Symphony. Heather now runs an audition seminar called Heather Clark's Audition Boot Camp.
VIVIANNA CUMPLIDO (MM - USC) is Principal Flutist with the Phoenix Symphony. Vivianna was previously Principal Flutist with the Tucson Symphony.
ADAM CALLIHAM (MM - USC) Look out for Father Flute! Having played flute with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, American Youth Symphony, YMF Debut Orchestra, the New World Symphony, and having been Adjunct Professor of Flute at Southern Utah University, Adam is now in seminary at Mt. Angel Seminary in St. Benedict, OR. He will be an ordained Catholic Priest in 2012.
ABEL DELGADO (BM - USC) recently accepted the position of Director of Development for the USC Thornton School of Music. He is also Music Director with the Harmony Project and the Barrio Symphony, and plays Principal Flute with the El Paso Opera.
ELIZABETH DETWEILER (MM - USC) has been the Principal Flute in the Coast Guard Band since 2003. She also plays with the Hartford Symphony and is guest soloist with the Band.
ANN GALBRATH (USC) is currently working at Haynes Flutes in their testing department. She previously worked for Powell Flutes in their Sonare division and was also a member of the US Coast Guard Band.
MARTIN GLICKLICH (DMA - USC) Performs in many Los Angeles professional ensembles and can be found in many motion picture scoring sessions.
TIM HAGEN (MM - USC, PSC - COLBURN) is an active freelance flutist, teacher, and composer in the LA area. He was also recently named Principal Flute with the Missouri Symphony.
SASAH LIPAY (MM - USC) is Principal Flutist with the Tucson Symphony after completing a successful one-year position with that symphony. Sasha also was winner of the 2006 USC Concerto Competition and played flute with the 2005-06 YMF Debut Orchestra.
JULIE LONG (DMA - USC) plays 2nd flute with the Riverside Symphony. She performs regularily with the Los Angeles Opera Company and is a very active teacher in the LA area.
GREG MILLIREN (MM - USC) is Associate Principal Flutist with the Minnesota Orchestra. Prior to his position in Minnesota, he was a freelance flutist and teacher in the Los Angeles area and performed with the LA Philharmonic, the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, and many other regional orchestras and ensembles.
JENNIFER OLSON (MM, DMA - USC) plays 2nd Flute / Piccolo with the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra and the Long Beach Symphony. Jenni is also Principal Flute with the Stockton Symphony. She has performed with most of the major orchestras in Southern California, including the the LA Philharmonic and the Pacific Symphony, and teaches at Pasadena Community College and Citrus College. Her woodwind quintet, Orion Winds is very active in the Southeastern US with concerts and residencies.
JULIANA OVERMEIR (MM - USC) is a member of the Tulsa Opera Orchestra and performs with the Tulsa Symphony. She served as principal flutist for the Light Opera of Oklahoma Orchestra in Tulsa for the 2001 and 2002 seasons. She has performed with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, the former Tulsa Philharmonic, the Tulsa Oratorio Chorus, and the Tulsa Ballet orchestra. In 2004, she joined the faculty at East Central University in Ada, OK. Currently a member of the Cimarron Wind Quintet, she also serves as Community Outreach Chair on the board of the Oklahoma Flute Society, and is a frequent clinician and adjudicator. She has received first prize in several competitions, including the James Pappoutsakis Memorial Flute Competition, the Concours Artistique Lucien Wurmser, and the Byron Hester Solo Flute Competition in Houston. She has recorded for several film scores, including As Good As It Gets and Halloween H20.
JESSICA PIERCE (DMA - USC) AlmaNova, flutist Jessica Pierce and guitarist Almer Imamovic, is one of the most active ensembles of its kind. Their first recording, 'Debut', featuring original music composed by inspired by the folk melodies and dances of Eastern Europe, has recently been nominated in two categories, Best Instrumental Album and Best Instrumental Song, by the largest Independent Music Awards, Just Plain Folks. The second, 'Classic Giuliani', is an overview of works by the 18th Italian guitar virtuoso and composer, Mauro Giuliani and was recently chosen as Critic's Choice, 2008 by American Record Guide.
TANG SOON PING was named Principal Flutist of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, effective October 1, 2005. Mr Tang was Jim's graduate assistant at Duquesne Uinversity in 1994 and became his Music Librarian and Computer Specialist from 1996 until his departure in 2004.
ELIZABETH ROWE (BM - USC) is Principal Flutist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, having previously played Assitant Principal Flute with the National Symphony and the Baltimore Symphony, and Principal Flute with the Fort Wayne Symphony.
KELLY SULICK (MM - USC) is Principal Flute with the Evansville Philharmonic and is Flute Professor at the University of Evansville. She was Principal Flutist with the YMF Debut Orchestra for three seasons.
AMY TATUM (MM - USC) is an active freelance flutist in the LA area and Southern California.
SAUL WASKOW - is Principal Piccolo with the Orchestra de la Philharmonica de Mexico.
KELLY WATSON (BM - USC) is also a composer and improviser and has led her own modern-chamber-jazz ensemble in New York City since 2005. She has released two albums as a bandleader, "from the shelf" (2006) and "dear and bare" (2009) on Phonector Indie record label. Kelly will solo with the Mid-Texas Symphony in March 2010, who will be premiering two of her pieces written for orchestra. Kelly has recently relocated to Berlin, Germany, where she freelances, performs in creative music venues with her new ensemble and leads a large Suzuki Flute studio at a German-American public school.
